Let me elaborate on 2 companies named NTPC and ONGC which we will try and merge
NTPC:
Vision:
“To be the world’s largest and best power producer, powering India’s growth.”
Core Values:
- Business Ethics
- Customer Focus
- Organisational & Professional Pride
- Mutual Respect & Trust
- Innovation & Speed
- Total Quality for Excellence
ONGC
Vision:
To be a World–Class Oil and Gas Company integrated in Energy business with dominant Indian leadership and Global presence

- Responsible for the assets and the business of the Company in fair, diligent and ethical manner.

If NTPC and ONGC are merged we see that it is a logical merger as both the companies operate in the power sector. NTPC deals in thermal energy whereas ONGC deals in Oil and Gas. The new company will be a power superpower and will be having the competitive edge in the market.The company will be called Combined Power Corporation (CPC)
Vision:
To be the major source of power to World making use of all the sources of energy
BHAG:
To be the No.1 power generator in all the sources of Energy (Wind, Solar, Biomass, Geothermal, Hydropower, Natural Gas, Coal, Nuclear, Oil) across India and the world

I am taking Boston Consulting Group, Inc that is headquartered in Greater Boston Area, USA and is one of the best knowledge consulting firms

To be the first company that comes to the mind whenever anyone needs consulting services.

Tentative Name:
BCG already has a name as it is an existing company.
However if I were to start a company on the above paramaters then I would have named it “Globe Consulting Group (GCG)”
